What began as a deep admiration for motorsport legends has now transitioned into an active pursuit of racing glory, as Nkima made the bold decision in 2024 to join active competition.
In his first year of competitive racing, Nkima has shown impressive resilience and rapid growth. Driving a Subaru Impreza N10, his performances have been consistent, with multiple top 5 finishes at various autocross events throughout the year. Though he hasn’t yet reached the podium, his finishes in events like the Mukono Mpata Autocross are evidence of a driver on the rise, pushing hard and learning with every turn.
Nkima’s debut in active competition has been fueled by a combination of personal drive and the support of his co-driver, Yusuf Babu. Together, they are steadily building a combination, unlocking the full potential of both the car and themselves as a team.
