The Netball Super League defending champions, National Insurance Corporation Netball Club (NIC) have beefed up their squad with five new faces.

For the first time in many years, the second-round throw-off will find NIC in a chasing position, four points behind the table leaders KCCA Netball Club following a poor performance in the first stanza.

This has been a result of a limited squad courtesy of injuries and the unexpected departure of key players such as; Stella Oyella now playing in Scotland and Joan Nampungu whose whereabouts are still unknown.
