Uganda Cricket Cranes Ease Past Rwanda in Continental T20 Cup

The Cricket Cranes of Uganda cruised to a routine 7-wicket win over Rwanda in Game 11 of Match Day 6 at the Continental T20 Cup-Africa ongoing in Nairobi, Kenya on Thursday.

Uganda captain Brian Masaba won the toss and elected to field first.

Rwanda were restricted to just 85 runs for all out in 18.4 overs. Henry Senyondo was the pick of the bowlers for Uganda, taking 4 wickets for just 7 runs.

Uganda chased down the target in just 9.4 overs with 7 wickets in hand.

Riazat Ali Shah top-scored for Uganda with 30 not out, while Roger Mukasa and Simon Ssesazi scored 29 and 22 runs respectively.

The win takes Uganda temporarily to the top of the table, with 8 points from 4 matches. Kenya are in second place, with 6 points from 3 matches.

The teams will have a rest day on Friday and return to action on Saturday. Uganda will face Kenya in the final match of the group stage.
