Uganda’s cricket team continued their impressive run in South Africa, securing a convincing 117-run victory over the Titans Invitational XI (Club II) at Centurion.

Batting first, Uganda posted 244 all out in 48.1 overs. Robinson Obuya anchored the innings with a well-crafted 46 off 67 balls, striking seven boundaries.

He was supported by captain Riazat Ali Shah, who contributed 41 off 48 deliveries, and Alpesh Ramjani’s quickfire 40 off 41 balls.

Despite good starts, Uganda’s middle order struggled to capitalize on partnerships, and they were bowled out with two overs to spare. Titans’ bowler M. Jackson was the standout with figures of 3 for 41, while Y. Mahlangu provided key support with 2 for 27.

In response, the Titans XI (Club II) never found their rhythm against Uganda’s efficient bowling attack, collapsing to 127 all out in 29.2 overs. The Ugandan spinners suffocated the chase, with Frank Nsubuga leading the charge, taking 2 for 11 in 6 tight overs.

Joseph Baguma (2 for 18) and Alpesh Ramjani (2 for 32) also chipped in, ensuring Uganda dominated from the start.

The only resistance from the Titans came through B. Snyman (28 off 19 balls) and T. Gouws (23 off 27 balls), but it wasn’t enough to overcome Uganda’s total.

This victory marks Uganda’s third win on tour as they build momentum ahead of their crucial World Challenge League B campaign.
