Volleyball: KAVC elects a new executive

National Volleyball powerhouse, KAVC have elected in new leadership that will run the club for the next two years.

In the elections that were conducted on Sunday, Irene Kiconco will be President, taking over from Hamza Lubwama.

She will be deputized by Nicholas Dheyongera, who took over from the departing Maria Zawedde.

Meanwhile, the executive secretary for the next two years will stay Kevin Acungkena, having served the office in the preceding reign.

The Manager for the Men’s category is now Solomon Oluma Mark, who takes the office from Olive Ekallam.

On the other hand, Winnie Kobusingye has been elected the Women’s representative, taking over from Mary Florence Nanyondo.

The player’s representative among the men will be Jensen Chestit, who takes the mantle from Edward Kalyesubula.

Finally, Madina Nanyonga Kyambadde will then take office from Patience Tusingwire as the Player’s representative for the women.
