Sport-S came from a game down to win the National Volleyball League title for the first time in 14 years.
Sport-S leveled the series on Saturday against UCU Doves and subsequently won the decider on Sunday at Old Kampala.
In the decisive game, the Nsambya based side won the tie 3-0 in a somewhat commanding display.

The first set had a few twists and turns; after Sport-S led 18-10, UCU rallied and led 23-22, before the champions fought back to take it 25-23, after a beaten block from Sam Engwaru.
The Nsambya side then made it 2-0 after a hugely dominant second set which they won 25-14, thanks to superb net defence by veteran Dickens Otim.
The Doves didn’t go out without putting up a fight, as in the third set they tried to make it difficult for Sport-S, but the latter eventually took it as well 26-24.
Sport-S 3-0 Doves (25-23, 25-14, 26-24).
