Kitara FC kept their strong FUFA Big League run going after a 4-0 win over Luwero United to round off the year in dominant style.
Patrick Kaddu, Stewart Akugizibwe, John Kisakye and Edson Agondeze were all on target at Kagaaya Playgrounds on Thursday, for Kitara to take their tally at the summit to 26 points in 12 games.
Meanwhile, second-placed Mbarara City FC trumped Soroti City FC 6-0 at the Kakyeka Stadium to make 25 points in 12 games.
On the other hand, NEC FC endured a slump as they drew 0-0 with Jinja North United at Bugolobi to leave the former third with 24 points.
The result meant NEC missed out on the opportunity to go joint-top with pace setters Kitara.
At Mbale Stadium, hosts Kataka FC impressively beat Booma FC, while at Midigo Primary School Calvary edged Northern Gateway SC.
Police FC were comfortable 3-1 victors over Kaaro Karuungi at Kavumba Recreation Grounds as Ndejje University beat Adjumani TC 3-2 at the Arena of Visions.
At the Nakisunga Saza Grounds, hosts Kyetume FC and Lugazi FC played out a 1-1 stalemate to leave the latter 10th with 14 points and the former 12th on 11.
