Uganda Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredejovich has called up a 33- man provisional squad to commence preparations for the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
The Cranes face Algeria in Algiers on 4th June before hosting Niger at Kitende on 8th June.
According to information from FUFA, the team enters camp at Cranes Paradise Hotel in Kisasi today evening.
The squad include a couple of foreign-based players including Huddersfield goalkeeper Bellagambi Giousue, who will be in line for a first ever Cranes cap.
There are a number of notable absentees including; Vipers SC star forward Yunus Sentamu, who has scored 20 goals in all competitions in the 2021/22 season.
