The 2022 East Africa Netball Club Championship was launched on 4th May 2022 at the Uganda Netball Federation headquarters.
The event was chaired by acting CEO Francis Banya who asserted that such games bring income to the country.
“We are well prepared to host the regional event and so far, 16 clubs have confirmed to be a part of the games,” Banya noted.
Defending champions NIC Netball club and national team star Stella Oyella assured her clubs’ fans to expect nothing but for the trophy to stay at home.
“The coaches do give us what they are supposed to but its the heart and determination from we the players at NIC that helps us to win,” Stella Oyella revealed on why they always win trophies.
The games throw off on Sunday and will be hosted by Kamwokya Community Sports Ground and Lugogo Indoor Arena.
