Energy drink injects millions into FUFA Drum

The FUFA Drum, an initiative by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations, has entered a partnership with Hariss International through their brand and energy drink, Rockboom.

They signed a Ugx.120 million deal today morning with FUFA slated for a year’s duration, but with an option for renewal.

“Our vision is to become the number one footballing nation in Africa and we can only achieve this by promoting, developing, and protecting the game,” said FUFA President Moses Magogo to the press.

“FUFA Drum is one of the avenues we use to promote football,” the justly joyous Legislator added.

On the other hand, the energy drink’s Sales and Marketing Operations Manager Mahmood Seblini expects the marriage to arraign huge positives.

“Our slogan is ‘Feel the Positive Energy,’ so we believe this partnership will help us in pushing the FUFA Drum, a tournament that’s full of excitement.”

FUFA Drum features 15 provinces including Kampala, Tooro, Lango, Kigezi, Acholi, Buganda, Busoga, West Nile, Ankole, Karamoja, Bugisu, Sebei, Kitara, Teso, and Bukedi.

West Nile are the 2022 champions, having defeated Lango courtesy of a 3-2 aggregate while Buganda and Lango scooped it in 2018 and 2019 respectively.
