Jinja SS head into their second double header of the season looking for their first win in the National Women’s Super 7s T20 Cup.

Habib Mugalula‘s team will face both Tornado Bees and Pioneer on Saturday at the Jinja SS Cricket Oval, and they will be looking to secure their first win of the season.

In their first league engagement which was also a double header, Jinja SS lost to Aziz Damani and Soroti City at the end of September.

They will be hoping to outpower their Saturday opponents as they return to league action.

Aziz Damani

Saturday will have them face one of the sides that is also yet to register a win this term.

Pioneer who they face last on Saturday have as many defeats this term. The only point adjustment to Pioneer in the point column was registered after their game against Tornado Bees was abandoned.

Like Pioneer, Tornado Bees have one point got from that game.

Tornado Bees are yet to play a game this season; Saturday’s match will be their first.

While Stephanie Nampiina is currently in camp with the Victoria Pearls who are preparing for the December World Cup Qualifiers, Jinja SS should feel confident to bag their first points on Saturday.

They have enough quality to get the job done compared to their opponents.

Jinja SS currently sit 6th with no point, but they will go third with those victories on Saturday.
