Kenya Simbas, on Wednesday evening, made easy work of Zambia in game two of this year’s Victoria Cup at Kyadondo Rugby to win 36-12.

Kenya, who boasted 13 debutantes in the matchday 2, were on the scoreboard within 2 minutes through Hillary Odhiambo and managed to get a nervy 19-06 lead at the break, thanks to two more tries through Joel Inzuga and Paul Mutsami.

The Simbas scored three more tries in the second half through Jone Kubu, Teddy Akala, and skipper George Nyambua, with Zambia adding two more penalties to push the final score to 36-12.

Kenya now sits atop the three-team Victoria Cup log with a bonus point win (5 points), while Uganda lie second on four points, and Zambia has none.

This sets up a mouthwatering end to the Victoria Cup as Uganda will play Kenya in Bweyogerere in a game that will double as the first round of the Elgon Cup on Sunday.
