The 2023 Uganda National Ludo Super League will dice off on Sunday 19th March 2023 with all games to be played at 10:00 am at different venues.

It will be a unique 2023 National Ludo Super League, with teams playing a new format of home and away in the hunt for points.

Before the dice off, the competitions committee at the Uganda Ludo Federation conducted refresher courses for referees and coaches to empower them with more skills and to sharpen them more.

Fourteen coaches and referees were licensed to handle and officiate the 2023 National Ludo Super League respectively.

A total of fourteen teams will be dicing in the top flight. An increment from the ten teams that participated in the previous season.

Defending Champions Nansana Galaxy will be facing their fellow counterparts Nansana All-Stars in a fierce derby and arguably the highlight of the opening fixture.

Last season’s runners-up Masaka Giants Ludo club will be looking forward to hitting the ground running when they host Basajja Bayiiya Ludo club.

Elsewhere, Gulu City will be hosting Kiboga Young, both teams will be dicing in the Ludo topflight for the first time.

There will be the use of at least two cameras on every playing board to record the matches. Both teams must provide these cameras to record data that will be used in the future in case of settling disputes.
