Ludo World Championship: Uganda Doves dice off to gold medals

Uganda Ludo national team, Uganda Doves are world champions on their first ask. The Pearl of Africa side defeated Pakistan 4-0 in the finals to claim gold.

The two days tournament which diced off on Tuesday with twelve nations, had Uganda, Nepal, Pakistan and Bangladesh reach the semi-finals.

Doves saw off Bangladesh in the last four and later emerged the 2022-World Champions in the games played at Fortune Hotel, Dubai.

This took the efforts of the experienced players like; Emma Mubiru and Bath Nagaddya who had played in the same city a couple of years back.

The closing and award ceremonies, were presided over by Alfad Mohammed, the chairman of the local organizing committee.

Alongside him was Hussein Kalule, the International Ludo Federation Vice President on behalf of Bhagwan Prasad Sahu, global governing body President.
