Adrian Mukwanga and John Brian Owino have been retained in the Uganda Cubs squad, giving the team a bit of experience as head coach Laryea Kingstone named his side for the AFCON U-17 tournament in Morocco.
The two are the only players from the Cubs team that featured at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar.

The team leaves on Saturday for a training camp in Casablanca, where they will face Mozambique on May 5 and Mali on May 9 in friendly matches.
The tournament runs from May 13 to June 2. The top two teams in each group will reach the quarterfinals and qualify for the FIFA U-17 World Cup, while two more teams will go through playoffs.
Captain Owen Mukisa leads a squad built from school and academy football, with players from Amus College School, Buddo SS, Kibuli SS and Vipers SC Junior Team forming the core.
Mukwanga is part of the goalkeeping group alongside Mubiru Geofrey and Ashraf Lukyamuzi.
Across the field, players like Fahad Ismail, Reagan James Lwanga and Liam Karissa Kankaka will be key.
