Naigaga Kamiyat scored at the death of the game to rescue a point for Asubo Gafford at Kampala Quality Primary School grounds.

She Makerere netted the opener through Sharon Namatovu after Gafford’s defense was caught napping.

The hosts had many chances to score a second but they were not clinical in front of the goal.

Asubo Gafford are still in the relegation zone with one game to go, a fixture in which they will face Riness WFC on Sunday.

Lady Doves 3-2 Uganda Martyrs

Lady Doves WFC fought tooth and nail to earn a spirited home win against Uganda Martyrs WFC.

This was the first win for Lady Doves against the Kiddawalimes and their last home game this season.

Lady Doves took the lead through Resty Kobusobozi and successfully defended all the attacks of the visitors in the first half.

In the second half, Diana Nantongo doubled the lead for the hosts but Uganda Martyrs later pulled one back through their captain Catherine Nagadya.

Lady Doves immediately responded with the third goal through their top scorer Norah Alupo.

The scoring didn’t stop at that as Uganda Martyrs got their second goal of the game from Catherine Nagadya.

This was the eighth loss for Uganda Martyrs this season. Their worst ever run of form in the FUFA Women Super League.

Lady Doves moved to fifth position with 19 points but, they still need a result in their last game against Kampala Queens FC to be safe.

Olila H/S WFC 1-1 UCU Lady Cardinals

Olila High School came from behind to get a point at home against UCU Lady Cardinals in Soroti.

Defender Halima Kanyago scored for the visitors before Ailigat Immaculate equalized to give her side a chance to fight relegation.

Olila WFC will visit Uganda Martyrs in their last league game of the league, a must-win to stay in the top tier.

The FUFA Women Super League matchday 17 will continue tomorrow as Rines SS WFC hosts She Corporate FC while Kawempe Muslim will welcome Kampala Queens FC.
