Uganda Crested Cranes goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro has inked a two-year employment deal with FUFA Women Super League giants, Kampala Queens WFC.
Nakaziro was unveiled on Wednesday from Uganda Martyrs High School, Lubaga, in what is a huge-cheque contract.
According to sources close to the custodian and the Queens, Nakaziro will earn in the region of ugx.600,000 as salary.
This will make her one of the highest earners in Uganda’s top-flight in the Women’s league. Her salary will be coupled with Ugx. 40,000 in matchday bonuses.
She will also have a house, fully paid for by the club and Ugx. 20,000 in the daily training allowances, among other fringe benefits.
Previously, Nakaziro was the skipper at Lady Doves and was part of the team that competed in the CAF Women’s Champions league qualifiers in Kenya in 2021.
The talented goalkeeper joins four other signings for the Queens, after left back Sumaya Komuntale, Asia Nakibuuka and Teddy Najjuma.
Last season, the team finished second in the top-tier as the She Corporates walked home with the title.
