The Mary Louise Simkins Memorial Golf Course is a busy place today as home side Namulonge take on their Entebbe Club counter parts in an inter-club Wakiso golf derby.
The rich list of tournaments with bragging rights on the table also has; the Uganda Golf Club versus Entebbe, Entebbe versus Kilembe and the Entebbe versus Kigali among others.
The first of its kind Entebbe versus Namulonge derby will be played over two legs with the second at Entebbe Golf Course on August 20.
The top twenty net scores from either club shall be used to determine the winner of either leg and the total combined net scores over the two legs will determine the overall winner.
According to the tournament director Edwin Tumusiime there will be various prizes for the outstanding players from numerous categories.
The tournament has attracted 96 players and the 19th hole experience (read bites, drinks and entertainment) dress code is the American Texas Cowboy.
