The National Rugby Sevens calendar takes her next stop in the Kitgum district for the Ribe aye teko 7s (which translates to strength in unity) after a successful 2023 launch in Jinja.

Stone City 7s Champions Black Pirates have been drawn in Pool A with Warriors and invitational side Black Arrows.

They will also be tussling it out with a core side, Buffaloes, whom they pummeled 35-00 in the Stone City 7s Quarterfinals.

Pool B is headlined by hosts Kitgum Lions, alongside Stone City 7s runners-up KOBs, a stubborn Walukuba Barbarians outfit that famously outwitted Hippos in Jinja, and the Gulu City Falcons.

Arua 7s reigning champs and Stone City 7s second runner-up Heathens have been drawn in Pool C where they’ll be facing a tricky Rhinos.

A side, that almost upset them in the Stone City 7s Quarterfinals. The other two teams in this Pool are the Rams and the Nile Leopards.

2010 Champions Impis are leading the pack in Pool D, alongside national defending champions Hippos, a hot and cold Mongers outfit, with the hungry Lira Bulls rounding up the group.
