The 9th edition of the Dolphins Fast and Furious Gala delivered an impressive display of talent and competitiveness, with swimmers recording strong performances across various age groups and events.
A total of 25 Fast and Furious records were broken, highlighting the high level of competition at the gala over the weekend.
Tendo Mukalazi of Aqua Akii Swim Club was the standout performer, breaking five records across his events, including the 100m Individual Medley, 50m Breaststroke, 50m Backstroke, and 50m Freestyle.
The record-breaking performances were rewarded with cash prizes, recognizing the swimmers for setting new Fast and Furious marks and adding another highlight to an already successful gala.
Top Swimmers per Age Group:
6–8: Kayondo Halwah (Axolotlz) and Liam Bossa (Altona)
9–10: Aya Adams (Blue Whales) and Isaac Gabriel (Dolphins)
11–12: Mushira Nabatanzi (Aquatics) and Shane Mugyenyi (Otters)
13–14: Opolot Gabriella (Ozpreys) and Benjamin Sali (Black Panthers)
15 and Over: Kikambi Theresa (Dolphins) and Mukalazi Tendo (Aqua Akii)
