The window which will see clubs beef up their squads ahead of the second round with defending champions NIC, Weyonje, Posta and Ugx Luweero at the forefront.

On the closing day of first round where NIC humbled Prisons 54-50, their tactician Mugisha Ali revealed that they have been operating on a small squad.

The NIC tactician asserted that they are going to add in more players both experienced and the younger ones who will be the understudy of the seniors.

Though, Mugisha never mentioned any name, they have been chasing for the signature of KCCA duo of; shooter Mercy Batamulinza and versatile player in Hanisha Muhammed.

NIC are still looking for the replacement of Stella Oyella who moved to Sirens in Scotland and Joan Nampungu whose whereabouts are yet to be revealed.

The other side that is taking this window as important to them is Makindye Weyonje Netball Club, a side rubbing shoulders with big guns.

The side has eyes on the signature of Flavia Zawedde, the forward who had an impressive display in the Bika bya Baganda tournament.

Ugx Luweero and Posta Netball Club, are the sides that want to strengthen their squads to avoid relegation because they had a poor run in first round.
