Uganda Cup 2023: Lifeguard Rams To Extend Protection To Mongers Territory

The stubborn Makerere tenants, Lifeguard Rams, are taking the gospel of healthy living and protection to the lakeside in Plascon Mongers’ territory.

Ladies and gentlemen, there will be a first-time appearance in the Uganda Cup finals. The Rams and the Mongers have yet to make it this far in the Uganda Cup.

The Mongers made easy work of the Kampani’s Eagles in the quarterfinals, while the Rams had to master a heist over their landlord, the Impis, in a tightly contested derby.

Like the game against the Impis, the Rams must have a next-to-accurate kicking game from Joseph Kana, Michael Kalyango and Hashim Kabogoza to counter the threat of Twijukye, Mukalazi and Edgar Kairu.

The two teams stand in each other’s way to a first-ever Uganda Cup final appearance, which should spice up the clash enough.
