- Soroti City CC 31/10 in 16.3 Overs
- Avengers CC 32/1 in 4.2 Overs
Avengers CC won by 9 wickets
Soroti City Cricket Club endured a difficult afternoon as they handed Avengers Cricket Club an easy path to victory in a one sided Cricket Uganda Men’s 50 Overs League Silver Group clash at Florida Oval on Sunday.
After winning the toss and choosing to bat, Soroti City never settled. Wickets fell steadily, and the innings lacked any meaningful partnership. They were eventually bowled out for just 31 runs in 16.3 overs.

Ainebyona Alban and Ocen Peter each scored six, the joint top scores in a fragile batting display. Extras added five, but the total remained far from competitive.
Avengers’ bowlers controlled the game from the start. Nasta Girish led the attack with three wickets, while Atul Rana and Yashashvi Joshi picked up two each. Christopher Kidega then cleaned up the tail with three quick wickets to seal the collapse.
Chasing 32, Avengers needed little time. They reached the target in just 4.2 overs, losing only one wicket. Timothy Kawanguzi made 10 before falling, but Hariom Dudharejiya and Abraiz Mir Ali calmly finished the job unbeaten.
The result showed the gap between the two sides, with Avengers barely tested throughout the match, Soroti City having put up a low score.
Elsewhere Wanderers Cricket Club edged Kutchi Tigers B Cricket Club by one run in another Silver group game played at the Lakeside Oval in Entebbe, Ismaili Community Cricket Club too won by 307 runs against St John’s SS Mukono at the GM Sugar Oval just like SKLPS Cricket Club won over Nile Cricket Club by 6 wickets in Kamengo at the Serenity Oval.
In the Bronze group, Kifara Cricket Club dominated Iganga Cricket Club with a 266 Run win at the Jinja SSS Oval while GM Sugar won over Tornado Bees Cricket Club by 4 wickets in the Gold group game played at the Lugogo Cricket Oval.
