The 2026 Cricket Uganda Women’s T20 National League Division Two action returns this Saturday with a morning and afternoon double-header at Ndejje SS Cricket Ground.
Tornado Cricket Club’s women’s team, comprised of Ndejje SS students, will host Pioneer Cricket Club, which is full of Masaka SS students in Luwero District, as the home side pushes for a promotion slot.
The two school-based teams will meet on Matchday Nine of the competition, with the hosts seeking to build on their recent victory over Nile Cricket Club.
On the other hand, Pioneer are yet to register a win and are at the bottom of the table on zero points. With today’s opponents in the same age bracket, they will definitely go all out for their first victory of the campaign.
With high stakes in the encounters, two victories for Tornado CC would take them to six points, just two behind second-placed Africa Cricket Club.
Furthermore, with another double-header against ACC scheduled for November 14, Tornado will be eager to collect maximum points from all their remaining matches to join leaders and champions JACC in the top two and gain promotion.
