Jinja-based Jinja Association of Cricket Clubs (JACC) could not have asked for a better start to their Cricket Uganda Women’s T20 National League Division Two campaign, easing to two convincing victories over Africa Cricket Club at Jinja Oval.
The hosts comfortably chased down their targets in both matches, winning the morning fixture by nine wickets before completing a seven wicket victory in the afternoon to lay down an early marker in the race for promotion.

The first game was effectively decided by JACC’s disciplined bowling. Africa CC never settled after losing early wickets and were restricted to just 50 for eight in the delay shortened 11 over innings.

JACC needed only 5.4 overs to overhaul the target. Rita Musamali struck an unbeaten 25 off 14 balls, while Jackie Lalam finished unbeaten on 16 as the hosts cruised to victory after losing only Kevin Awino.
Africa CC showed more fight in the afternoon, posting 113 for eight from their 20 overs. Nanyunja William top-scored with 34, Sarah Walaza made 26 and Resty Nalumansi added 22, but regular wickets kept the innings in check.
