On Match Day three, Olila Cricket Club enjoyed a perfect Saturday at Florida Oval, completing a commanding double over Tornado Bees Cricket Club in the Cricket Uganda Women’s T20 National League – Division One , with opener Lorna Anyait setting the tone through a composed half century in the day’s opening match.

Olila claimed the first contest by 31 runs under the DLS method before returning later in the day to seal an emphatic 152 run victory.
Batting first in the morning, Olila posted 158 for five from their 20 overs. Anyait anchored the innings with a patient 56 off 54 balls, while Nandera Immaculate’s unbeaten 30 from 14 deliveries provided the late acceleration. Asumin Akurut added 14 and captain Malisa Ariokot contributed 13.
Rain reduced Tornado Bees’ chase to six overs, but they never threatened the target. Patricia Malemikia finished unbeaten on 10 as Tornado Bees managed only 25 for five, handing Olila a comfortable win. Kevin Amuge and Nyamer Devine Gabriella picked up two wickets each to lead the attack.
The evening fixture followed a similar script, Olila produced an even stronger batting display, reaching 183 for six after Ilora Joan struck a fluent 58 off 41 balls.

Captain Malisa Ariokot remained unbeaten on 43, while Nandera Immaculate added a quickfire 19 to push the total beyond reach.
Tornado Bees struggled from the start of the chase and were never able to recover. Hope Wankan’s unbeaten 17 was the only notable resistance as the side collapsed to 31 for nine in 16.3 overs.
Nandera Immaculate and Lorna Anyait starred with the ball, taking three wickets each, while Martha Amayo, Icumar Josephine and Asumin Akurut also claimed wickets to complete another dominant performance.
Elsewhere in the Cricket Uganda Women’s T20 National League Division two, JACC too took home double wins against Africa CC at the Jinja Oval.
