With only days to the kickoff of the FUFA Women’s Super League, Kampala Queens have added more quality to the team, with the signing of winger, Elizabeth Nakigozi.

The crafty forward was on Monday unveiled to the ‘palace’, ending her stint with Uganda Martyrs LFC.

“We are delighted to announce the signing of Nakigozi Elizabeth from Uganda Martyrs LFC,” read a statement from the club’s social media platforms.

Last season, Nakigozi finished as Uganda Martyrs’ top scorer with seven goals.

Previously, she had been plying her trade with the UCU Lady Cardinals, Muteesa I Royal University, and Lady Doves FC.

She joins five other signings at the Kampala Queens, with the rest being goalkeeper Daisy Nakaziro, Grace Aluka, Asia Nakibuuka, Sumaya Komuntale and Teddy Najjuma.

In their pursuit for the league title, they will kickstart the new season at home to newcomers Asubo Gafford Ladies on Sunday.
