FUFA Women Super League (FWSL) side She Maroons FC have completed the signing of three players on the deadline day of the January transfer window.
Crested Cranes defender Bridget Nabisaalu and midfielder Faith Apio join from UCU Lady Cardinals, while striker Faith Ampumuza arrives as a free agent.
Nabisaalu has not been playing for UCU Lady Cardinals and left the club on mutual consent to join League new comers She Maroons.
Apio featured for UCU Lady Cardinals in the first round of the league while youngster Ampumuza has been training with the team.
The three players have all penned down a two and a half year contracts to play for the Luzira based side who finished the first round of the FWSL in third position, behind giants Kawempe Muslim Ladies and defending champions Kampala Queens.
Nabisaalu and Apio will be looking to make their She Maroons debut against their former team when coach Simon Peter Ochuka‘s team will visit UCU Lady Cardinals in the first game of the second leg of the FUFA Women Super League on Sunday 11th February, 2023.
