Uganda Cranes midfielder Shafik Kagimu has completed a move to North Macedonia outfit FK Rabotnicki.
The former URA FC skipper has been unveiled on a two-year contract with the Macedonian top-tier side.
He becomes the second Ugandan to trade in the country after former Vipers SC captain Halid Lwaliwa, who spent last season at Bregalnica Stip.
Meanwhile, Kagimu spent the past season at Kenyan giants Gor Mahia under former Uganda Cranes head coach Johnathan Mckinstry.
Along with former KCCA FC striker Patrick Kaddu, they won the 2022/23 Kenya Premier League championship.
FK Robotnicki holds a rich history that goes all the way to 1937 when it got founded as SK Radnicki Skoplje. It is widely regarded as the ‘railway football club’.
For their 85 years of existence, they have won 10 topflight titles, and finished eighth last season, having gathered 37 points from 30 games.
