Soroti Cricket Academy (SCA) U17 girls team will be seeking to return to winning ways and ultimately clinch the Rwanda Bilateral Series on Friday when the two sides return to action.

SCA got their tour of Rwanda, in which they played against the Rwanda U17 team in a comfortable manner, winning both the opening T20 games on Tuesday, but they were made to face the sword on Wednesday when they lost by 8 wickets in the 40 Over game.

The result meant they went into the break on Thursday leading the Series 2-1, but on the back of a humiliating defeat.

They will be hoping to return to winning ways today and ultimately clinch the Series.

SCA star girls Patricia Apolot and Sarah Tino, who have excelled at this Series will be looking at guiding their side to victory.

On the opening day, Apolot put in a solid shift. Bowled just two Overs in a game that was reduced to 10 Overs due to bad weather, but one of those came out a maiden.

She picked two wickets in the other Over which she let in only a solitary run.

Tino meanwhile owned game two. She came out with a return of 3 wickets, while conceding just six runs from three Overs.

Patricia Timong, Asumin Akurut among others will also be looking to snatch the headlines, but the aforementioned will be seeking to wrap up the event with their opening form and ultimately guide their side to triumph.

Felix Musana, the chairman and founder of the academy sought exposure and experience for his girls! It is fair to say that his girls have achieved this, but the ultimate goal would be clinching the Series.
