Unpredictable Uganda Martyrs visit wounded UCU Lady Cardinals

Uganda Martyrs Lubaga women’s football club will pay a visit to Uganda Christian University Lady Cardinals in a tricky tie today evening.

The game in Mukono will see two sides throwing everything at themselves in a fight to keep within the first three positions.

In their previous league outings, Uganda Martyrs went 2-1 down to She Makerere while Lady Cardinals lost 2-0 to league winners Kampala Queens FC.

The last time the two teams faced, Uganda Martyrs easily beat Lady Cardinals 4-1 in Lubaga.

However, Lady Cardinals punished Martyrs the last time they hosted them in Mukono beating them 4-2.

The Lubaga-based club has lost four league games in the second round, the most in their league history.

Lady Cardinals’ top scorers Ashiat Naluggwa (8) together with Sandra Kisakye, and Sharon Nadunga will be tasked to look for goals.

The visitors will rely on their captain Cathrine Nagadya who has a goal involvement of 15, Scoring five and assisting 10 times.

UCU will be looking to keep their 100% home record against Uganda Martyrs in the league. The game will kick off at exactly 4 pm.
