Wakiso Giants FC have finally unveiled midfield prodigy Mulamba Blanchar, joining them on a relatively long three-year contract.

Given his immense talent, Blanchar comes in to fill the void left by Ibrahim ‘Baba’ Kasule, who left the Purple Sharks in January to Turkey, before later on joining United States side, New York Red Bulls II.

The youngster joins from the Masaza Cup tournament where he has been a regular feature for Buwekula Ssaza.

Blanchar has also previously played at Gomba Ssaza and Butambala Ssaza in the Masaza Cup.

He is expected to be in contention as Wakiso Giants take on KCCA FC in the FUFA Super 8 on Friday at the MTN Omondi Stadium.

He becomes their second official signing in the ongoing transfer window after Muhammad Ssenoga Kagawa, who joined from KCCA FC on a season-long loan deal.

Wakiso Giants have however parted ways with stars like Sharif Kimbowa, Moses Aliro, Paul Willa and right-back Grant Matsiko.
