In a top-of-the-table clash, Vipers SC will be away to leaders SC Villa in the Uganda Premier League, at the Muteesa II Stadium on Saturday.
The two sides are separated by four points; Vipers in third have 39 compared to Villa’s 43.
The latter have however played three games more, and Vipers will head to the top should they win the games in hand.
“They lead the table and they’re at home so, the game won’t be easy,” Vipers head coach Alex Isabirye noted to the press.
“They have a good set of coaches, good players so it will be a difficult one.”
“We have also been preparing well and we shall go there and put up a good performance because we need those three points,” the former BUL boss added.
While they have lost their previous two games, Villa has had a good second round that had them win six on the bounce before the recent negative results.
“Both teams have good players so it will go down to how well the players are mentally,” Isabirye added.
Vipers were 2-0 winners in the first round at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, with goals from Yunus Sentamu and Karim Watambala sealing the deal.
Sentamu is expected to overcome an injury layoff that had him sit the last two games to feature for Isabirye.
