Buhimba United Saints’ troubled season sank even deeper on Thursday after FUFA eventually deducted three points from the club for failing to honour their Uganda Premier League match against NEC FC.
The Hoima based side was also fined three million shillings after skipping the May 13 fixture at Lugogo.
On the day, NEC players and match officials, led by referee Solomon Jjumba, completed the pre-match routine before the game was declared a forfeit after Buhimba failed to show up.

FUFA’s Disciplinary Panel later ruled that Buhimba lose the match and suffer an immediate three-point deduction.
Already relegated, Buhimba remain bottom of the table with 12 points in what has been a season filled with financial struggles and instability.
The missed fixture came days after the club head coach resigned, citing months without pay since joining the team.
Players had also reportedly refused to travel to Kampala for the NEC game, demanding unpaid salaries before honouring the fixture.
Despite the chaos, Buhimba later travelled to Kamwenge for their away match against Mbarara City FC, though they arrived late.
They will now wrap up their difficult campaign at home against URA FC on Friday.
