Buhimba United Saints came from behind to secure a crucial 2-1 victory over Kataka in the FUFA Big League on Sunday, March 16, 2025.

The win not only strengthened their position at the top of the table but also completed a season double over Kataka.

Despite falling behind in the 40th minute to Michael Olinga’s goal, Buhimba responded immediately through John Wesley Kisakye, who equalized less than a minute later. Lucas Mola then sealed the win for the hosts with a 76th-minute strike.

The victory extends Buhimba’s impressive run, marking their fourth consecutive win as they continue to push for promotion.

They now sit comfortably at the summit with 35 points, four ahead of Blacks Power and Gaddafi, who both have 31 points.

With 10 wins, five draws, and only three losses in 18 games, Buhimba remain strong promotion contenders. Meanwhile, Kataka, despite the loss, retains sixth place with 24 points.
