Heathens Rugby Football Club have secured a new partner ahead of the Uganda Rugby Premiership playoffs semifinals, unveiling Zora Packaged Drinking Water as their official hydration partner in a three-year deal worth UGX 25 million per year.

The partnership was launched on Thursday at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds, bringing together club officials, players, fans and representatives from Napas Agro Processors Uganda Limited, the makers of the newly introduced Zora brand.

The agreement will see supply of drinking water for all Heathens activities, including training sessions, league matches, Uganda Cup fixtures, playoffs and Sevens tournaments.

Mugumisa described the deal as more than a sponsorship agreement, saying it brings together two organisations that share similar values.

“Zora is joining a community that values excellence, consistency and growth. Every bottle sold at Kyadondo will contribute directly to the development of rugby while supporting a proudly Ugandan brand,” he said.

As part of the partnership, water will be stocked and sold at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds, with proceeds benefiting both Heathens Rugby Club and Kyadondo Rugby Club. The arrangement is expected to create an additional revenue stream to support rugby development.

Napas Agro Processors CEO Annah Namuli Muzaaya said the company saw an opportunity to invest in a club whose values match its own.
