Maroons have received a significant boost ahead of their upcoming match against Mbale Heroes FC tomorrow Thursday, January 2 as midfielder Jackson Nunda has been cleared fit to return to action.
Nunda, who has scored two goals this season, had been sidelined but is now ready to feature in the highly anticipated matchup.
The match, scheduled for this Thursday 4:00 pm, will be the first meeting between Maroons and Mbale Heroes FC.
Maroons are looking to build on their recent win against Police FC at Kavumba Recreation Centre, while Mbale Heroes FC is seeking to bounce back from a disappointing loss to Vipers SC at home.
Mubarak Wamboya Abu will be in charge of Mbale Heroes team following the suspension of head coach Asaph Mwebaze. The team is currently in the red zone of the table with 9 points in 13 games, while Maroons sit 6th with the same number of games played.
However, Maroons will continue without the service of Darious Ojok, who remains sidelined as he continues his rehabilitation but with Nunda’s return, the team is expected to receive a significant boost in midfield.
