Coach Morley Byekwaso has parted ways with KCCA FC, and Nnalubaale Sports can confirm.

The news has come moments after the club’s exit from the Uganda Cup as they suffered a 1-0 defeat to Soltilo Bright Stars FC at the Kavumba Recreation Grounds on Sunday.

The Cup defeat came on the back of three consecutive league draws at the hands of Maroons FC, Blacks Power FC, and UPDF FC.

In the league, they sit second with 39 points, four behind leaders SC Villa who have played two games more.

In 2021 Byekwaso signed a three-year contract at Lugogo following the back of the departure of Mike Hilary Mutebi.

Reports had it that Byekwaso had lost the trust of his dressing room, with most players not buying into his commands.

KCCA take on URA FC in their next match in the Uganda Premier League at the Mehta Stadium, Lugazi on Wednesday.
