Ugandan rugby international Adrian Kasito will continue his journey in France after extending his stay with French side Rugby Club Tricastin for the 2026/2027 season.
The explosive back has signed a second contract extension with the Nationale 2 outfit, a reward for the impact he has made since arriving at the club in 2024 for his first professional stint abroad.
Kasito, a former KOBs player and regular with the Uganda Rugby Sevens national team, quickly became one of Tricastin’s exciting players thanks to his pace, versatility and attacking flair.
Comfortable on the wing, at fullback or scrum-half, the Ugandan has earned admiration for his ability to change games in open play.
During his time at the French club based in Pierrelatte and Saint Paul Trois Châteaux in the Drôme region, Kasito has produced several memorable moments, including long-range counterattacking tries that highlighted his acceleration and finishing ability.
The extension signals the club’s confidence in the Ugandan, who continues to adapt well to the demands of French rugby while balancing his commitments with the Uganda Sevens setup.
Kasito’s move to France in 2024 marked a major step in his career after years of standout performances on the World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series with Uganda.
His progress abroad has also added to the growing list of Ugandan rugby players earning opportunities in Europe.
By securing another season at Tricastin, Kasito will hope to continue developing his game and help the club compete strongly in France’s competitive fourth-tier Nationale 2 league.
