Margret Baagala was one of the most impressive players Uganda had at the 2023 Netball World Cup.

Upon her return from South Africa, there were a lot of rumours making rounds that she was heading to New Zealand or England based on the performance she displayed in the World Cup and other subsequent international tournaments but all that was buried and no deal matured.

The sister to Norah Lunkuse, in this period of one year, she graduated from Kampala University and continued with her basketball career as she made a big switch from Kampala University Lady Eagles to KCCA Leopards.
