Douglas Oyirworth netted deep in stoppage time to help UPDF FC share one-all spoils with KCCA FC at the MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo on Sunday.
This came after Congolese striker Tshisungu Kankonde, came off the bench to give the hosts a second-half lead which couldn’t fetch all the points.
The stalemate added to KCCA head coach Morley Byekwaso‘s misery as fans continue to call for his head over indifferent results.
The Kasasiro Boys have failed to win each of their last three games against lowly sides in Maroons FC, Blacks Power FC, and UPDF, drawing all.
Under the floodlights for the first time at Lugogo, the home team’s fans resorted to silence for the entire 90 in protest of their embattled tactician.
It was expected they’d celebrate after Kankonde’s goal but nothing of the sort happened, as they stayed mute.
Others wore black t-shirts with ‘Morley Out’ written in bold white to sum up a sombre evening.
KCCA stayed second with 39 points on the log, four behind leaders SC Villa who have played two games more.
