Five-time champions Vipers SC head coach Roberto Oliveira Robertinho was crowned Coach of the Month for November at the Pilsner Monthly Awards.
The Kitende side’s tactician beat Wakiso Giants’ John Luyinda Ayala and KCCA FC’s Morley Byekwaso to the monthly gong, in a brief event held at the Kati Kati Restaurant, on Monday.
The Brazilian managed six wins in a November that had the Venoms play seven matches. The other was a one-all stalemate with Wakiso Giants.
Following a slow start to the campaign, November had them accumulate 19 points out of a possible 21, scoring 13 goals and conceding just one.
They beat each of Arua Hill SC, URA FC and Blacks Power FC 1-0, and thrashed UPDF FC 4-0.
They also comfortably defeated Maroons FC 3-0, SC Villa 2-0, to move within table leadership positions.
