Dar es Salaam, Tanzania – The two-time East African Champions, Uganda Prisons Netball Club, the Prisons Queens, began their title race with a convincing 57-32 win over KVZ from Zanzibar at the National Stadium Tanzania Netball Courts.

The Prisons Queens dominated the game from the start, taking a 16-7 lead in the first quarter. They extended their advantage to 25-15 by halftime, with their opponents struggling to keep up with their precision.

In the third quarter, the Prisons Queens continued to assert their dominance, leading 40-25. However, it was the introduction of substitutes Christine Namulumba, Kango Stella Nanfuka, Viola Asingo, Donia Flavia, and Doreen Lukenga that transformed the game.
