The late Robert Seguya‘s family in conjunction with the Uganda Rugby Age Grade have organised a tournament to commemorate the rugby legend.

The first edition of this memorial tourney is slated for this Friday at Kyadondo Rugby Club with various age groups competitions on the menu.

“We are planning to start at 9am and be done by 4pm. The Toto’s games will end first and they will be awarded before heading back home by lunchtime,” Dorothy Nekesa told Nnalubaale sports.

The Uganda Rugby Union Executive Member in charge of Age grade and development added that each category will be awarded despite facing financial challenges.

With no sponsors on board, this will act as a dry run and Nekesa called upon well-wishers to join them as they have to transport and feed the future Adrian Kasito and Peace Lekuru, being a full day activity.

The tournament will see categories namely; Toto’s U10, Toto’s U13, U15 (Girls and Boys), U17 (Girls and Boys) and U20 (Girls and Boys).
