The Uganda National U-20 team is already in Sudan and have upped their preparations for the forthcoming AFCON CECAFA Zonal Qualifiers.
Under the guidance of interim head coach, legendary Jackson Mayanja, the team will look to emulate their 2020 display when they won the regional title.
After conquering the zone, they went all the way to the final of the continental showpiece before eventually losing to Ghana 2-0.
The Hippos will open their qualifying campaign on Saturday the 29th of October against Tanzania at Al Hilal Stadium.
They will then rest for six days before playing their second tie against Ethiopia on the 5th of November still at Al Hilal Stadium.
