Bika Football: Bulega positive ahead of Musu’s Round of 64 return leg against Ngabi Nyunga

Musu head coach Faridah Bulega highly anticipates her clan to overcome Ngabi Nyunga in the Round of 64 return leg of the Bika Bya Baganda football tournament.

The return leg shall take place at Kibuli SS on Friday, 9th May 2025 with game starting at 2:00pm as the game coming in follow of early two games.

In the first leg, Omusu took advantage with a 2-1 win at Lubiri Secondary School on Wednesday,
7th May 2025.

Derrick Jjagwe and Marvin Mulumba scored the goals that won the game, while Henry Matovu netted Ngabi Nyunga’s consolation to keep the contest in close range.

Relaying on the first leg game, Bulega hopes her Clan to progress to the next round

“Today we have trained well, the team is in good shape and ready for the clash, we are facing a good team, although the best-prepared team will win the game, therefore, we hope to have a good gam.”

The winner on aggregate shall be joined by seven other teams from this round to reach the Round of 32, joining the 24 seeded clans.

Going into the game, Ngabi Nyunga has so far played two games without a win this year, having drawn with Akasimba in the tournament’s opener and lost to Musu while Musu was playing their only game of the season so far.

Both Musu and Ngabi Nyunga are playing in search for the first shield of the Bika Bya Baganda football tournament.

Lubiri SS

  • Olulyo Olulangira vs Nakinsige (Agg: 3-0) – 2:00pm
  • Ntalaganya vs Njovu (Agg: 2-3) – 4:00pm.
