Bugerere unveil Noah Mugerwa as head coach

The forthcoming 2023/24 Masaza Cup tournament is beginning to catch a bit of heat with various teams going huge with their preparations.

After Busiro Ssaza and Buddu appointed Ibrahim Kirya and Simon Peter Mugerwa as head coach, respectively, Bugerere have also appointed Noah Mugerwa.

The developments of Noah Mugerwa’s appointment were made public knowledge on Sunday at the Katikoomu Hotel in Kayunga by Owek. James Ssempiga.

Mugerwa comes in as a direct replacement for Tony Kayiwa, who was in charge of the team in the preceding campaign.

“In a special way, I want to thank Mugerere (Owek. James Ssempiga) for entrusting me with this team to be the head coach,” Mugerwa said.

“We are going to work as a team to see that we get the trophy this season. I have been with a number of Masaza teams and won with them, I will use the same experience to see that Bugerere wins the trophy.”

His previous Masaza assignments had him at Buddu, Buluuli, Kabula and Butambala.

Currently, he is the head coach of Masaka based school, Blessed Sacrament Kimaanya.

For the tournament slated to kickstart on June 24, Bugerere occupies the Bulange group along with Busujju, Ssingo, Buvuma, Butambala and Bulemeezi.
