Buweekula Completes Double Over Buddu in Masaza Cup

Buweekula continued their unbeaten run in the 2023 Masaza Cup with a 1-0 victory over Buddu on Saturday.

Martin Nsubuga scored the only goal of the game in the first half, and Buddu were unable to find an equaliser.

This result means that Buweekula have now won both of their games against Buddu this season, and they sit top of the Masengere group with 15 points. Buddu are second in the group with 12 points.

In other games, Kyaggwe defeated Kooki 2-0, Mawogola drew 1-1 with Gomba, and Busiro drew 1-1 with Ssese.

Mawokota won the big game of the day, beating Kabula 3-0. Joseph Kayondo, Godfrey Okumu, and Brian Muwayira scored for Mawokota.

Ssingo continued their impressive form with a 1-0 win over Buvuma. Erias Kayemba scored the only goal of the game.

Bugerere and Bulemeezi drew 0-0, while Buluuli and Kyadondo drew 1-1.

Jonathan Luyonde scored the only goal as Busujju defeated Butambala 1-0.

The 2023 Masaza Cup will continue this weekend with match day eight.
