KCCA FC yet again dropped points in the Uganda Premier League after a 2-0 defeat to URA FC on Wednesday at the Mehta Stadium.

The defeat comes only days after Morley Byekwaso left his head coaching role, with the club handing Badru Kaddu the mantle for the Wednesday encounter.

Decisive second half

Defender Eric Ssenjobe and substitute Alfred Leku inflicted pain on the Kasasiro Boys.

It’s now five games in all competitions without victory for KCCA, who had three stalemates and also lost 1-0 in the quarterfinals of the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Sunday.

In the 72nd minute, defender Mustafa Mujuzi surrendered possession in the opposition half to Joseph Ssemujju who then set up Ssenjobe for the opener.

In the dying minutes, Leku drove the ball unchallenged before he shot past Benjamin Ochan to seal the victory for the Tax Collectors.

KCCA stayed second on the log with 38 points, while URA moved to 33 points and could go third should later results go their way.
