The third edition of the FUFA Drum is at the quarterfinals stage and the organising Committee held draws for the last eight teams at FUFA House, Mengo today morning.

The FUFA Competitions Director Aisha Nalule who is also a member of the FUFA Drum Organising Committee explained the format in which the quarter-finals will be played.

“It will be played on a home and away basis and the winner of each tie qualifies for the semi-finals. The team that has scored more goals at the end of the second leg fixture shall be the winner of the tie.”

However, if teams are tied at the end of the second-leg, the away goal’s rule shall apply. If teams are still tied, spot kicks shall be applied to determine the winner.

The matches will be played starting 9th September 2022 but only one fixture will be played per day.
